I don't like most blogs. I don't run a normal blog. The only point of THIS blog, is to profile my pitiful attempts at uncovering the secrets of Amnesia: The Dark Decent.
I've played scary games. Resident Evil and its remake, Silent Hill, FEAR, Fatal Frame, The Shalebridge Cradle in Thief 3. None have brought forth the fear I've felt in Amnesia. The atmosphere is brilliant, the art fantastic and the sound design sublime. I'll attempt to chronicle my journey through Amnesia here and maybe, if I get it set up, even post videos of me running like a scared little bitch from dark terrors witnessed by mortal eyes.
So sit back and occasionally read my fellow travelers, as I recount a tale of horrifying discovery, impossible geometry, Lovecraftian horrors, and a darkness best left forgotten.
